Just another WordPress.com site

Many people jump into a quick conclusion as poor, bad dressing style and many horrible opinions when they hear the name “Africa.” the fashion and dressing style in Ghana, in West Africa has moved to a new level in the past few years. the ladies wear a sowed Ghanaian fabrics in a different beautiful style. ladies and men have adapted to part of Western world’s fashion that is ladies wear high heels, jewelries, and makeups whiles the men something like a jeans and a shirt or a sowed Ghanaian fabric with a show

This wasn’t how the dressing style was at first. women tied fabric around their waist and a little piece covering their breast whilst men wrap a fabric around their waist. there was nothing like ladies in heels or makeups. the fashion style in Ghana has change drastically and i believe is a positive change which means the country is developing.

  1. I think it’s an excellent point to bring up that fashion is a sign of development. I think it is often overlooked as being superficial, but in fact the detail put into it and the methods of making clothes show advancements in society. A sewing machine is way more advanced than just thread and needle, but can also produce more at a higher pace and in return bring in a lot of profit. It is a growing industry and I think it’s great for the people of Ghana because of the jobs and luxury it provides.

I totally agree to your post and coming from me and my background, i too personally know alot how african ladies and gentlemen dress beacuse i am African, from Camroon, Africa. the style of how they dress has really evolved throughout time. I feel as if they just adapted to society.
